Genre: Action / Adventure / Platformer

Game Overview

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com A failed scientist dies in an accident, only to awaken in a mysterious, alien world.

Where is he? How did he get here? And why do the fundamental laws of reality appear broken?

Life. Afterlife. Real. Virtual. Dream. Nightmare. It's a thin line.

It's Axiom Verge.

Axiom Verge takes the adage “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” and has it emblazoned across every moment of its 10-hour campaign. This 2D sidescroller pulls in most of the things that made Metroid such a classic experience: great weapons, interesting abilities, and a fantastic sense of progression. But where Nintendo’s classic presents a memorable setting with an evocative atmosphere, Axiom Verge’s world failed to leave a lasting impression on me.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

The sense of character progression throughout Axiom Verge delivers a lot of satisfaction. You’re constantly stumbling upon new powers and abilities that allow you to go back and open up dead ends you passed long ago. Gaining the ability to phase through thin walls five hours in, and then using it to grab a power-up that you saw near the beginning of the game gives a nice feeling of accomplishment for those who pay careful attention to their surroundings at all times.

Likewise, seeing your hero grow from a relatively helpless guy stranded on a strange planet, to a demigod with an arsenal that’d make Master Chief jealous is a smoothly rewarding process. The dozen-or-so guns you get all feel very different, and have specific uses. The glitch gun is handy for transforming deadly enemies into peaceful platforms, while ice beams help to slow down particularly chaotic enemies. My favorite tool in Axiom Verge’s arsenal is a small spider drone which you can deploy and fully control to scout out sticky situations while your main character hangs back in safety.

You’ll need to become familiar with all of your weapons and tools, because Axiom Verge features some awesome, challenging boss encounters. Learning their patterns and weaknesses, and ultimately slaying one of the massive beasts is a good old-fashioned rush. Controls are responsive, and the sensation of movement and combat feel great. Sure, there were a few that had me dying over and over again until I really memorized their patterns, but this was never too much of a burden thanks to Axiom Verge’s quick load times and ample checkpoints

While the combat feels great, Axiom Verge’s sense of exploration is a letdown. The map unfolds as a hodgepodge of identical squares that never really give you any indication of what you’ve stumbled across. While I appreciate a game that doesn’t hold my hand, without a clear objective I found myself getting lost far too often, especially after taking a break and coming back to the game. And without a method of fast-travel, I spent far too much time wandering back and forth across vast stretches of the map in an attempt to figure out just what the hell I should be doing.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

One place Axiom Verge fails to learn from the classics is in its world design. Where Super Metroid is littered with memorable scenery and zones that feel completely different, yet spatially connected to one another, Axiom Verge’s locales never really stuck with me. Nothing about the world really felt lived in, or had any memorable personality. Metroid’s world made sense -- whether it was a crashed ship to explore near the planet’s surface, or a zone near the planet’s core that’s filled with molten lava. Axiom’s world just feels arbitrary.

That goes for the story, too. Where Metroid succeeds by delivering its plot purely through environmental storytelling and atmosphere, Axiom Verge often grinds the action to a halt and delivers an exposition dump onto you. The story certainly isn’t bad, but I never felt attached to the characters or their problems, so pulling me out of the action ultimately turned into a chore.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

The Verdict

Despite occasional moments of feeling slightly uncomfortable by just how much Axiom Verge feels like Metroid, I still felt compelled to see this journey to the end. The weapons feel great, the character progression is rewarding, and bringing down a massive boss is awesome. While I wish it balanced its lack of mission explanations with its overabundance of exposition, I still really enjoyed my time in its strange, yet familiar world.

Heavy metal

Originally released all the way back in 1990 on the SEGA Genesis, Assault Suit Leynos – or Target Earth as it was known in North America – is a 2D side-scrolling mecha shoot-'em-up that still holds up well today. Remade for the PlayStation 4, this new version comes with high definition visuals, a remixed soundtrack, and some slight gameplay tweaks. If you're looking for a bout of retro mechanical carnage on your current-gen system, then you can't really go wrong.

Suiting up in your Assault Suit in order to push back cybernetic enemies from the depths of space, it's actually quite remarkable how well the game's able to make it feel like you're piloting a big heavy mech. Your suit stomps around with satisfying sound effects, your boost jump is barely enough to lift your metal shell off the ground, and the close-range punch that you can throw out always connects with a crunchy weightiness.
Heck, even the weapons have a nice impact to them as you tear opposing suits apart with your rifle and watch ships smash into the ground after a well-timed shotgun blast. As far as 2D titles go – especially retro ones – we're struggling to think of many games that are as punchy as Assault Suit Leynos in this day and age.
At its core, the release is an uncompromising shooter. It's not total bullet hell, but you're almost always punished for your mistakes, with your foes able to take away chunks of your health bar with just a few bullets. Most of your time will be spent jumping over barrages and returning fire while you're still in the air, or letting loose with an automatic weapon from distance, hoping that you've done just enough to stop the enemy's march.

Aiming does take some getting used to, though. Rather than using the right stick to angle your gun like numerous other 2D shooters, your aim is controlled via the directional pad or left stick – both of which also govern your general movement. Moving forward while also holding up, for example, will see your suit aim towards the sky – it's a tricky system to wrap your head around, and it's even trickier when there's often so much action going on around you.
Fortunately, there is a way to lock your aiming in place while moving, but even that can be a bit of a struggle at first. Holding down L1 keeps your gun in its current position so that you can move more freely, but it's still perhaps a shame that an alternate control scheme isn't an option. That said, having a simpler way to aim might make things a little too easy – and Assault Suit Leynos enjoys being anything but easy.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

On the Easy and Normal difficulties, the game's far from being soul-crushingly brutal, but it still provides a sturdy challenge. A brief lapse in concentration can see your suit explode into flames if you find yourself surrounded, and beefier boss opponents can take a heck of a lot of punishment before they finally fall.
And as if watching your own big metal butt wasn't intense enough, you'll also have to keep an eye out for your allies on occasion. The campaign features varied mission objectives, ranging from escorting supply vehicles to destroying an invading force before they reach their destination. Some levels even hurl optional tasks your way which can impact the narrative, so there's potential for increased replayability if you want to see everything that the plot has to offer.

There's only one real gripe that we have with Assault Suit Leynos, and that's that at times, it can become overwhelming. Trying to read the important dialogue text that's either providing critical mission information or sharing details on the game's surprisingly competent story while fending off hordes of cyborgs is a very tall order, and it makes trying to dodge or defend against the sometimes tiny enemy projectiles even harder than it already is. Mix all of that in with escort missions and time limits, and you're going to want to set the controller down and take a cool shower before retrying the stage that just completely overloaded your brain and sweat glands.
Perhaps it's a good thing that the campaign doesn't last too long, then. Each mission only takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, meaning that a full playthrough falls somewhere in the region of one to two hours. Of course, you can always revisit to try and set new high scores, and there's an equipment unlock system that allows you to customise your loadout if you're in the mood for experimentation. What's more, fans of the original release will be happy to know that the full SEGA Genesis title is also included, complete with pixelated graphics and retro beats.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

Conclusion

Sporting a varied campaign that's bolstered by satisfyingly weighty gameplay, Assault Suit Leynos is a good way to enjoy a hardcore classic. It isn't especially friendly to newcomers and at times its overwhelming mission design can be a burden, but it still stands strong as a solid mech shooter that'll put your piloting skills to the test – even 26 years after its original release.

PlayStation 4 (PS4) Assassin's Creed Unity: Dead Kings Gaming Review Complete

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

    Release Date: Out Now

    Developer: Ubisoft, Ubisoft Montreal

    Cheats: On GameFAQs

Journey from the bloody streets of revolutionary Paris to the troubled city of Saint Denis in Assassin’s Creed Unity -- Dead Kings, the first major story campaign DLC that takes place after the events of Unity. Arno leaves Paris seeking isolation and finds himself wrapped up in the mysteries surrounding Saint Denis. Explore the city’s extensive underground with Arno’s lantern. Beware the animals wandering in the darkness...

Arm yourself with Arno’s explosive new Guillotine Gun and take on the secretive Raider faction that’s desecrating the catacombs. Discover new side missions (in addition to the main DLC story content) and solve puzzles in the depths of the catacombs.

Nightmare might never their previous prediction, Ubisoft as mortgaging their good name in 2014 yesterday. After harsh criticism over the quality of Watch Dogs that were not comparable to what they promised in advance, especially for the PC version, Ubisoft must deal with the fact that even much worse. The annual game is supposed to be their spearhead in the gaming industry - Assassin's Creed become the playthings of the masses. Apart from the claim that he would be able to become the foundation for the series Assassin's Creed latest generation, Unity had to struggle with so many technical problems were fatal. Nothing else can be done Ubisoft besides apologizing, trying to improve the game through a series of aftershocks patch, and provide compensation. For the latter, "apology" Ubisoft finally arrives.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

To show their seriousness to apologize, Ubisoft has finally decided to eliminate their paid DLC - Dead Kings to all gamers who buy AC Unity, on any platform. While gamers who have purchased a Season Pass her in the beginning, the right to choose one among several new game titles Ubisoft freely. Fulfilling that promise, the first DLC AC Unity - Dead Kings finally begin to be distributed with the data size is large enough, along with the content that is claimed to reach 5 hours of extra game.

The question now is whether the compensation is commensurate with the free DLC that has been done Ubisoft error against AC Unity? Is he able to offer a different experience? This review will discuss it in for you.

Plots

All the great adventure, tragedy, and the complexity of life had to face during the Assassin's Creed Unity finally made Arno - the main character falls to the conclusion that a more selfish. He wanted to run from Paris, France, who was yet to find stability, especially after the collapse of the government. Full of atmosphere of despair, Arno asked for help the friend - Marquis de Sade to give access to the Egyptians, escape from all the memory circuits for which Paris is like a nightmare goes live. Unfortunately, this request itself was not easy. Sade asks Arno perform a final task as reciprocity - find a rare artifact.

Taking a smaller setting at the edge of Paris, Arno commenced an investigation action to meet the demand of De Sade. Of all the information he had, it is likely that the answer he encountered were in the tomb of the king who had eaten a reply from the people he hurt - King Louis XVI. The tomb is now inviting the looters is believed to contain a larger series of roads that lead to secret desired by Sade. However, this action actually bring more surprises and mysteries.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

Additional content Not Significant

For a DLC that was planned to be paid, the price is quite high, of course, be something rational for us to anticipate strong meaningful content for Dead Kings this. Should not offer significant gameplay changes or the like, a story that expand the role and identity as an Assassin Arno alone should have been enough to justify DLC for gamers to glance at this one. But what will you get? A relief. Relief that arises not because this DLC meet all your expectations, but the fact that you are spared from Ubisoft attempts to draw more money without commensurate content. There was relief that you can enjoy this content for free, with a negative perspective.

With a smaller city and the content side mission fewer, AC Unity - Dead Kings is still offering the sale value that has become a force in the series headliner. The quality visualization and lighting capable feast for the eyes are still found here, especially with some of the details of existing landmarks. But in terms of content, you can not expect much more. AC Unity - Dead Kings is arguably as a melting pot of diverse sales value Unity in the same mission. You will still be faced with a mission that focuses on stealth action, stalking a specific target, open battle, and of course - a myriad of puzzles that can be solved with a little squeeze of the brain. Side offered additional mission did not provide significant added value. Dead Kings Assassin's Creed Unity is still you know, just with a different setting and story.

Ubisoft does look strive to offer something new through Lantern concept. With more mission focuses on the figure Arno is now forced to adventure in the underground tunnels and tombs in the dark, he will now be equipped with a lamp as a light source. But not just for light, lantern can also be turned on or off manually to repel a variety of small animals that might impede the motion of your main roads, such as rodents, insects, up to bat. This lantern also be spearheading some of the latest puzzle mechanism, than just turning on the light source in a particular coherently, to look for alternative ways to ensure your lantern does not fall into the water. A simple mechanism which unfortunately, did not contribute much. These lanterns did not leave any impact.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

In terms of action Arno, not too many things you can expect. The only cool of this DLC is the presence of new, more lethal weapons for you to use - Guillotine Gun. Perception you are mistaken if you imagine a weapon with sharp edges to behead the enemy unfortunately, is not allowed in AC Unity gameplay. Guillotine Gun is a blend of two-handed ax and a mobile mortar weapons, like the grenade launcher to injure an enemy on a large scale in an instant. Cool design and function are fun to use is the sale value of these weapons. But if you expect a historical sensation of the French Revolution more rational, this is precisely the existence of weapons of AC Unity increasingly distanced from the impression.

Significant additional content is exacerbated by the challenge that is also not comparable. Varian new enemies in AC Unity: Dead Kings, the Raiders are positioned as a tomb raider actually appear much easier than the enemies you face in the series original Unity. HP comes with a number of smaller and block actions that are rarely, you can kill any of these Raiders instantly without experiencing difficulty. The new extra challenges arise if they are present in large quantities and attack you with the Counter-attacks its timing, is far shorter than the other variants Arno enemy. One thing is certain, there is no full swing to kill the "residents" who was present as without this resistance.

So what can be drawn from the AC Unity - Dead Kings this? Ubisoft that this is an attempt to get the extra money failed. Addition of experience is not significant, the content of which has not changed much, the story is somewhat forced, none of the elements that will make you fall in love with this one DLC. If there is one comment that could come out of this DLC? "Lucky for free!". Because if you have to pay some money to get something like this? There are so many indie games or legacy more deserving to receive "donations" of money you are.

Two Months Later ..

Another question that also provoke curiosity necessarily revolve around how effective the process improvements made by Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity this. Play it on Playstation 4, some large-sized patch is already been leveled, including those measuring more than 6 GB some time ago. Dead Kings own size ranges from 8 GB, data is large enough for a game that could be completed in under three hours, if you are a gamer who prefers chasing the main story. So, how Unity sensation upon our return to Paris? Are there any significant improvements as long as it promised?

Unfortunately, all these answers should end with the word "No", especially of the sensation we sampled Dead Kings to finish. Framerate may feel more stable, but still decline to make the game uncomfortable when positioned Arno in the middle of a battle or a particular action. Classical problems AC Unity as the motion of the NPC unrealistic, such as walking on a pile of barrels or appear in a game all of a sudden, are still visible. One of the most distressing was the emergence of some glitch in the game. We both fought against the one enemy that decides to be quiet and just to see, when we Gun Guillotine ax lodged in the neck of his friends. Rather disappointing to see that the problem of this kind of problem still appears after a variety of claims thrown Ubisoft over the past few months.

Two months later, and they still have not got the right formula to offer the sensation of Assassin's Creed is different. Dead Kings is still a matter of opening a map, complete side missions that still revolves about stalking or killing people, and the conclusion that the story is not strong. If they want to restore the rule of Assassin's Creed as one of the best open world games on the market, Ubisoft had a lot of homework great. Assassin's Creed Victory will be a proving ground, a battlefield that is interesting to follow in 2015.

Conclusion

Hats off to Ubisoft to finally choose to distribute DLC - Dead Kings is free of charge to the owners of Assassin's Creed Unity were disappointed. That of all the policies that they are following, this DLC is the answer to the most rational as a form of apology, to show the clear intention to improve itself. But unfortunately, not like this sensation we get when tasting Dead Kings as the original owner of AC Unity. Since the beginning of the game to finish, relief that we did not have to pay extra money for a piece of content that has no meaning at all should be regarded as the more dominant feeling. "Lucky for free", is constantly spinning in the brain. Inconceivable be a gamer who have to spend extra money to buy this DLC, while on the other hand, the same amount could give them a lot of indie games with quality experience even better.

Disappoint him, two months after its release, with a series of claims that they had previously spawned, AC Unity remains a problematic game. Various glitch and bug still seemed obvious, from the behavior of AI that actually makes this game far from realistic, to bugs and decrease the framerate is quite disturbing. Ubisoft is quite "dodgy", trying to juggle all these problems and suggests that it appears as a glitch of Animus own. But we are not dumb, and Ubisoft still has a lot of great work to resolve the tangled threads of this one.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

Then, if the Dead Kings deserved to draw your time? To satisfy the curiosity, especially considering he distributed freely, then we end up with the word "Yes". But with one condition - if you do have internet without kuote with adequate speed. Why? Due to a size 8 GB DLC content, Dead Kings did not offer any new stuff. The desire to offer a different experience through the lantern system is not much help. Puzzle easy to handle, easy enemies killed, the story somewhat forced. The only reason is simply Guillotine Gun that looks cool, that's all. This DLC Pantaskah seized 8 GB bandiwth you? The decision is now in your hands.

The Verdict

Dead Kings offers a surprisingly large bundle of new content that expands and improves on some of the best aspects of Unity's gameplay. Despite a lackluster story and some unnecessary new obstacles, its large playable area and unique underground locations give you lots of opportunities to use its explosive new weaponry, hone your stealth or combat skills or simply experience more of what you enjoyed about Unity’s original release.

PlayStation 4 (PS4) Assassin's Creed Syndicate Gaming Review

         Release Date: Out Now

         Genre: Action / Adventure

         Publisher: Ubisoft

         Developer: Ubisoft Quebec

Every year, the Assassin’s Creed series struggles with the idea of inheritance. Like its Templars and Assassins, who are locked in a never-ending struggle for relics, each game picks a side in the question of how strongly should it lean into its now-convoluted ancient lore and incorporate the still-underdeveloped present-day elements. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate chooses wisely, leaves out multiplayer entirely, and pushes a lot of that baggage into the background, largely freeing itself up to make the most of Victorian London and have fun with sneaking, climbing, and stabbing.

As Evie Frye
Play as Jacob’s twin sister Evie, a relentless Assassin who has perfected the silent, swift, invisible strike. Parkour across London’s immense open world using your status in London’s leading crime syndicate to change the city for the better.

Sibling Rivalry

Syndicate smartly negotiates this internal conflict by dramatising it in the form of its twin playable characters, Evie and Jacob Frye. The former is a devout Assassin, intent on stopping the Templars by tracking down the remaining pieces of Eden. Her brother Jacob, however, is a pragmatist – a social reformer who rails against the Assassin’s burdensome legacy and wishes to help his city in more immediate ways, seemingly embodying my desire to move on from the tangled mysticism. They’re both extremely likeable, well-drawn protagonists, and the interaction between the two is laced with a lively sibling rivalry that brings levity to otherwise-earnest cutscenes. But their contrasting worldviews have the greatest positive impact on Syndicate’s structure, which is both engaging and meaningful.

You can freely switch between Jacob and Evie at most points, with side missions and open-world activities open equally to both. Campaign missions, however, are different, with Jacob taking the lead in the majority of the core assassinations. This is frustrating, especially since Evie is pitched as the more stealthy of the pair. But I soon realised that Syndicate is just not that interested in exploring forgotten tombs in search of dusty relics; it wants to liberate the great city of London from its terrible oppressors. And to be blunt, Syndicate’s a much better experience for identifying more closely with the goals of Jacob.

Despite being sidelined so often, Evie comes across as the more nuanced character, struggling with her sense of duty, where Jacob is a more straightforward bloke with clear goals. By the end of the 20-hour campaign, I felt like I’d probably spent more time with Evie due to prefering her in side missions, and I certainly knew her better. She sees the bigger picture, with her missions tackling problems Jacob can’t even comprehend. Evie also stars in my favourite assassination mission – a nighttime infiltration of the Tower of London.

Given their differences, I was disappointed with how similar Jacob and Evie are to play. They each possess three high-level abilities designed around their supposed strengths of stealth and combat, respectively – Evie can effectively become invisible when stationary, for example, while Jacob has more deadly combos. But the rest of the abilities are identical. At first, I exaggerated the differences by investing all of Evie’s points into the stealth skill tree and Jacob’s into combat, thinking I could switch between the two depending on the situation. But since you can’t switch between characters within campaign missions, that’s not a viable approach. In one mission, I was playing as Jacob and it would’ve been really useful to unlock a specific door to make a quick escape, but because I’d only unlocked advanced lockpicking for Evie – who was unavailable – I had to take a longer, more hazardous route out of the building.

Assassin’s Bones

Inside the mostly entertaining and lively packaging, however, what you’re being asked to do feels very familiar. Missions almost always involve the traditional Assassin’s Creed staples of following, escorting, or killing people and/or stealing items, but Syndicate’s characters and situations do more than enough to stave off boredom. The most prominent new mechanic is the grapple-gun, and on the whole, it’s well implemented and fun to use. Its ratcheting mechanism prevents you from turning into Batman; it’s not possible to zip around London at high speed or glide, but it allows you get negotiate wider roads without coming down to street level, and reach London’s higher rooftops with ease. When you’re on the ground, carriages can be stolen at any time, and provide a helpful way to cover more ground since London’s a big place, around a third bigger than Unity’s take on Paris. They don’t feel particularly fast or exciting to drive, but they handle much better than I was expecting.

The latest iteration of Assassin’s Creed combat, on the other hand, looks fast-paced and attractive – the sword cane became a favourite, thanks to its delightfully brutal finishers – but got a touch repetitive by the time I was through. It would also be nice to have more non-lethal ways to subdue others, especially in a setting that introduces the police as a hostile but ultimately well-meaning obstacle that I didn’t feel good about having to kill. Technology dominates the era, but Alexander Graham-Bell – the era’s Da Vinci – doesn’t have much to offer your arsenal outside of an electrical grenade which is effective at incapacitating large groups of enemies but draws far too much attention. And if you’re wondering if this is the year when Assassin’s Creed finally fixes its long-standing problems with your character accidentally grabbing the wrong ledge or climbing the wrong wall, it sadly has not. But free-running as good here as it’s ever been.

The Verdict

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is the most fun I’ve had with an Assassin’s game since Black Flag. In fact, I liked it more. Apart from its ill-fitting conclusion, it never takes itself too seriously and delights in the rich possibilities of its Victorian setting and great new grapple gun. As you explore its contrasting boroughs, you glean some sense of what powered this great city in the 19th century. The story missions capitalise on this by exploring different spheres of influence, which when combined with elements like mass transit, heavy industry, and law enforcement, make this feel like a different type of city than has been featured in the series to date. Best of all, Syndicate asks you to take London back in a way puts the last few games to shame.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is a smart, sprawling sequel that wisely places an emphasis on freedom and fun while trimming most of the fat that bogged down Assassin's Creed III's ambitious but uneven adventure. Ubisoft's take on the Golden Age of Piracy begins in 1715, and is presented with a much-appreciated lighter tone that is not afraid to of make fun of itself in the name of an entertaining journey.

And on next gen, the experience is even more impressive thanks to minimal loading and maximum draw distances that seem to go on for miles. The way the camera zooms out when your ship Reaches its maximum speed, the speakers Bombard you with the sounds of the wind, and the sunset turns blood-orange, is simply amazing. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are nearly identical, and both deliver the same gorgeous adventure.

All versions of the game come with some form of off-screen support. The Wii U GamePad acts as a binder that comes in handy when you're searching for a par- ticularly hidden piece of treasure, or you can play Black Flag Directly off of the screen on your controller. The other versions support Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV Companion App, a free download that lets you turn any tablet into a home for maps, an Animus database, and much more. There's a lot of information to digest in Black Flag, and being Able to Utilize a second screen instead of constantly bouncing in and out of menus helps keep you in the experience.

Black Flag Learns from AC 3's initial 10 hours of banal Immediately hand-holding by throwing you into the action. After a lean and exhilarating opening mission that places you in the blood-soaked boots of Connor's much livelier and more likeable grandfather Edward Kenway, the world blossoms and Allows you to explore its vast Uncharted waters. The size of the world is staggering, and the fact that it's absolutely brimming with fun and rewarding activities made me wanna get lost as possible as I Traveled from point A to point B.

When you ignore the main mission is prompt and simply sets out in search of your own fun, Black Flag is at its best. It treats you like an adult, and Allows you to explore its gorgeous and activity-filled world to your heart's content. Want to discover every nook and cranny of Kingston's sprawling Expanse in search of the secrets of the Templars? Or would you rather buy a small fishing boat and hunt for all manner of deadly sea creatures, using your Spoils to upgrade your character? Maybe you just want to sail to a remote island, climb to the top of a mountain, and gaze in awe at the world around you. Black Flag is all about embracing freedom and carving your own path through the world.

The freedom to tell your own stories Also exists in the multiplayer mode, which, once again, refines the unique cat-and-mouse gameplay Introduced originally in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Having to blend into your surroundings and try to trick other players into thinking you're an A.I.-controlled NPC Provides ample moments of tense and entertaining mayhem. Just like previous versions, it's a welcome alternative to the standard deathmatch that's Become the norm in most multiplayer games, but it's not substantial enough to be the main reason to keep coming back to Black Flag.

Also back and better than ever is the series' signature feeling of momentum. It does a great job of Marrying the vertical city-based traversal of Assassin's Creed II with the energetic frontier movement of AC 3. That being said, Edward still occasionally disobeyed my commands by errantly jumping off rooftops and climbing up walls that I never wanted to scale in the first place, but Reviews those are minor nuisances. Also, the world's vast scope invites a handful of hiccups. For instance, the body of a guard who's holding a key Necessary MIGHT disappear if you leave the area, meaning that you have to restart a mission. Black Flag is peppered with Reviews These sorts of annoyances, and though they certainly are not deal-breakers, they had a tendency to pull me out of the experience a bit too often.

Ubisoft wisely avoids the morose spaghetti bowl that Assassin's Creed's plot lines have Become in favor of a much lighter tale Embracing the adventuresome spirit of classic pirate stories. I loved the fact that Edward is so unlike his relatives Assassin, and much more interested in the pursuit of money than the opaque goals of some secret cabal. It's a refreshing change of pace from a series that had started to take itself a bit too seriously.

This lighter tone IS ALSO evident in the way that Black Flag feels less violent than its predecessors. Death animations are are relatively short and sweet, with a surprising lack of blood for a game centered around stabbing people. The restraint is admirable, and it makes combat more fun and less serious than slaughter business in recent years. Then again, Black Flag Also tends to repeat some of the Assassin's Creed series' favorite mistakes, like forcing you to tail a prospective victim at a safe distance for minutes on end while you're given an exposition dump. It's mighty annoying that I had to spend 10 minutes listening to rarely memorable dialogue before I could a make the kill.

While the main story is a bit of letdown, I was honestly shocked at how much I enjoyed my time spent outside of the Animus. Reviews These first-person missions are mostly optional, but surprisingly great. As a new Abstergo employee working to develop an entertainment product based on Edward's life, you'll quickly intervening find yourself embroiled in a bit of corporate espionage that Ultimately leads to you to discover all sorts of secrets that Gleefully hint at the future of the series.

The Verdict

The amazing world of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has gladly kept me occupied for longer than any other game in the series, even though its story is not the strongest. At no point in my dozens of hours I was ever at a loss for something to do. Simply sailing wherever the wind takes me and seeing what sort of trouble I can get into is a complete joy. Beyond the underwhelming play campaign, Black Flag delivers a world brimming with gorgeous places to go, amazing secrets to discover, and Nefarious pirates to stab.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

    Release Date: Out Now

Genre: Action / Adventure / Platformer

    Publisher: Ubisoft Entertainment

Developer: Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal

It is common knowledge that many seem to Assassin's Creed fans who crave a series which makes the classical civilizations of East Asia as the main setting. With attention to detail shown by Ubisoft for each series Assassin's Creed that came to the market, which makes a series of Japanese culture with ninjas and samurai, or China with a classic war would be a colossal sale value tempting. But unfortunately, the likelihood that expectations will be realized over seems so small. The only product with a similar approach to what we deserve this? The latest project of Climax Studios who also was also planned as a product Season Pass for AC Unity - Assassin's Creed II.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

He grew up as an experimental project, a fulfillment of the hope many gamers about setting Assassin's Creed is more exotic and far away from mainland Europe and the United States itself. But unlike the series of major air conditioning in general who took the action genre of open world in the quality of its amazing visuals, Chronicles solidified the genre in a more simple. An action platformer game who is still trying carries the same substance. Combined with the two-dimensional visualization with taste subtle paintings, Chronicles began his journey with China, beyond two different series - India and Russia are also being prepared.

So, what is offered by the Assassin's Creed Chronicles - China's? Why do we call it a game that offers a different taste sensation? This review will discuss it in for you!

Plots

AC Chronicles: China is not a home debut to figure Shao Jun - the Assassin women of China. You could enjoy the story of the end of the life of the legendary figure of the Assassin - Ezio's Creed Embers Assasssin certainly familiar figure Assassin this one. Shao Jun told as an assassin "refugees" who studied more in common with Ezio. At the end of the story, it is told to return to their home country, which is positioned as the beginning of AC Chronicles: China's.

But the condition of the Assassin in China starting to worry. In contrast to other parts of the world where the Assassin still represents a balanced match against the Templars, Assassins in China arguably, already falling apart. Their struggle for freedom successfully suppressed by the Templars - Eight Tigers managed to kill many of them. The main mission of Shao Jun explained, revenge and revive Assassin Brotherhood in China. He began killing members Eight Tigers individually, while trying to get back the treasure that the Assassin had fallen into their hands.

Different Feeling!

Whether the success of what you might get if they were to Ubisoft, just a little, intend to make setting Japan or China as the classic adventure series Assassin's Creed is the new main. Imagining detail and gameplay so the potential is enough to make a lot of gamers around the world, no longer reluctant to spend their wallets and throwing money away to Ubisoft. But the potential benefits are unlikely to ever be realized. Instead, they offer a product that is completely different to satisfy the curiosity of a little. A series of Assassin's Creed with a unique flavor, not always as we know from the franchise this one. A new flavor of the late AC Chronicles: China.

Remember, this is not a game Assassin's Creed for this you know. AC Chronicles: China offered as an action platformer game that focuses move from one point to the left point to the right is the main goal. Some levels you encounter will be built several layers, which allow you to move forward or backward, and to access a wider area. Challenges platform to push for a series of actions at some point to be one of the main selling points. Regardless of the different views, air conditioning Chronicles: China still can be called, carries the same essence.

You are not going to meet again with the world as filled with people moving here and there with so many objects that can eliminate your presence when playing. Regardless of the design is more straightforward, AC Chronicles: China remains a stealth as the main core. You have the freedom to kill any enemies you encounter in the game and faced with higher risk of death due to sword fighting system is quite challenging, mission or taking minimal risks with optimal stealth approach. Almost all the elements that seem designed Climax Studios is designed to facilitate this second approach. Not only is the level of design, but also other mechanics.

Shao Jun is seen as an experienced Assassin. Design gameplay allows you to see how much visibility every enemy you encounter and the direction of motion of their eyes. If you are within the scope of their vision, the yellow bar will move and your movements will be directly assessed suspicious, bait the enemy. Under these conditions, you can still move away to the enemy's alert level to decrease. But if you let it rise to the next level, the cone of view will be colored red, and you will be seen as a source of potential threat. The next move? Hunting your life. Nothing else you can do, besides taking up the sword.

So, why do you have to approach a more stealthy gameplay? The main reason, of course, rooted in the efforts to meminalisir risk. In contrast to the AC main game you taste this time, Shao Jun could be killed just because 2 or 3 sword of the enemy, making him vulnerable. Not an easy task to confront and kill a lot of enemies at once, let alone attacking you from every direction. The second reason? System points. That's right, do a stealth game for the number of points will make you get more for each session level. Accumulate in sufficient quantities, Shao Jun will get a permanent buff will continue to the next level, such as a health bar and more like. Each level usually has some degree point. Quick pursued or not? You decide.

Regardless of the design rooted in the tastes of the two-dimensional, air conditioning Chronicles: China appears to offer design complexity level appropriate for the thumbs up. It is non-linear, open some branches of the road that you can take to complete the mission there. But one thing for sure, along with the progress of your game, the more challenging variant you have to face. In the beginning, you just have to keep an eye on the guards and their visibility. But at the next level, you have to start keeping careful footsteps steps you because of the way that sounds fragile, quiet passing birds chirping and may attract guards to guard with a lantern able to see your hideout in the darkness. Varian offers a variety of levels of different challenges and requires a strategic approach that is more effective anyway.

http://Cheatstationer.blogspot.com

But do not worry, in addition to its ability to maneuver quickly from one hideout to hideout while others seem to swing a sword not hesitate to stop the flow of breath any enemy, Shao Jun will also be strengthened with some other equipment. He can whistle to lure the attention of the guards, throwing a dagger to sever the ties, and so on. Along with the challenges of an increasingly varied, Shao Jun will also be strengthened with a more complete equipment, such as Grappling Hook example. Learn about the new challenges like what you find, and try to mengkomodasinya with everything you have on hand, will be the key to winning AC Chronicles: China's.However, that does not mean this game comes without flaws. There are two major problems that we see in this game action platformer. One, of course, is the problem of AI. If you are a gamer who is not too concerned with the problems of perfection point, you will see AC Chronicles: China is a fairly simple game. The enemy will not be able to be alert to deal with your running speed of your last place. You can always split off, wait a moment, and try again, without significant consequences. The second concern is the issue checkpoint. For a game that makes the movement carefully and slowly as the core gameplay, death in AC Chronicles: China accounted for quite annoying checkpoint comparatively far enough. Everything must start from the last position, wait until guards ran away from their post or moving through the same conversation, sometimes, quite annoying.

Finally, to East Asia?

Apart from the fact that it is a spin-off series that was developed by a team of developers with smaller systems different gameplay, Assassin's Creed finally arrived in East Asia, as we want now. Imagine how complex and I think the history of China to explore the course it became a rational expectations, regardless of the quality of the visual is different. But what do you get? A disappointment. AC Chronicles: China does not offer a presentation of the history of China's charming, as is done with the Ubisoft series AC for this.

Faced with a visual like a classic painting of the old ink on your television screen, he saw the action of the main characters who move from one area to the next, effectively acting as a murderer, of course, be a unique landscape. But unfortunately, for a game that carries the name of Assassin's Creed, it is not able to capture the historical value should be a major selling point. You are going to feel a little that you are in the middle of Chinese civilization through classical building design and visual characteristic of the painting. But the rest? It's so bland. Your journey is not over moving from one area to another can be considered, which, arguably, has become a level "mandatory" platformer game, without a rich historical approach. There is no strong background, there is no cultural value, there is no historical event taking place, there is no interaction population to capture the social situation that was going on at that time. China, in AC Chronicles, merely place, and no more.

If the same thing they apply also in AC Chronicles: Indian and AC Chronicles: Russia next, it can be predicted that the experience they offer will not be much different. You will play a "just" in place and different moments, with gameplay mechanics that may differ only in their equipment and weapons. On the other hand, both China, India, and Russia will be a place of adventure you empty, without the history that became one of the main selling points of this franchise. They did not even offer a special Chinese music to reinforce the atmosphere, and decided to re-mix music Assassin's Creed 2 is different. Is this practice would be tolerated regardless of its status as a spin-off game? The decision to return to your hand.

Conclusion

AC Chronicles: China is catching a lot of things that you like Assassin's Creed, as well as stealth mechanics so that the main force of this franchise. Powered by a two-dimensional visualization quality tub unique paintings, it was not as simple as one might imagine. Level design is open with many layers that support your freedom to find one of the alternative solutions available. It requires you to plan your actions before you go, to make observations on the opposition movement there, and let you choose to go to war openly or clandestinely. For business this one, complete with Leap of Faith, Eagle Vision, and the haystack is still pinned by Climax Studios, AC Chronicles: China look pretty good.

Even so, it's like losing a core that should be embedded in it. It is a setting of China as the main theme, but unfortunately, it is a mere manifestation of visual level without any depth. You were hoping to get a strong atmosphere like the series Assassin's Creed seems to be the main subject to be disappointed. "China" here is merely the space you have to pass from one place to another. We also noted weaknesses in the system and AI that sometimes annoying checkpoint in several places.

Then, AC Chronicles: China's interest to have? To satisfy a curiosity, probably yes. But for those of you who wish to gain experience of Assassin's Creed is full, mainly from its ability to present the historical civilization that he choose, AC Chronicles: China will become the project's disappointing. If the same concept to be implemented for Ubisoft AC Chronicles: Indian and AC Chronicles: Russia, the three potentially end up as the same game with a different skin and some elements of the weapon. Ubisoft takes more effort to make the atmosphere, just right.

Excess
  • Mechanical control AC successful translated into a two-dimensional gameplay
  • Looking back at the figure of Ezio
  • Design a sufficient level of open
  • The visual quality like painting
  • Stealth is the key essence

Shortage
  • Failed exploit the theme of China should be rich
  • AI is not too responsive
  • Music that does not support the atmosphere
  • The checkpoint is sometimes annoying

Suitable for players: an action platformer lovers, who like the figure since June Shao era AC: Embers

Not suitable for gamers: the love for AC strong historical atmosphere, not like the games based stealth.
