Gameplay
Gameplay and groove to maintain consistency before Darius game: player against Army Belsar through several stages and can choose to fight in different zones along a different path, eventually reaching a different final boss and ending. Players can upgrade weapons Silver Hawk space combat them with power-ups that affect the ship's main weapon, secondary missiles and shields as well as additional power-ups that add to a player's score, extends or destroy every enemy on the screen. The main differences include the selection board, Burst System and the effects of enemy weapons.
The player has three types of major weapons to upgrade starts with Missiles, Laser and ends at Wave Shot. As the ship received a further upgrade, the placement of weapons will move up from the missile to the Laser and Wave. However, many enemies throughout the game using the same shot and the player can destroy enemy fire depending on what they are. When using Missile Shot, the Silver Hawk could destroy enemy missiles shot and the same effect was standing with Laser shot. Wave shot but consistent throughout the series Darius in his ability to fire through the foreground object is solid.
Burst system allows players to unleash a powerful beam attack that can be positioned to fire in several directions. By pressing and holding the fire button the right, players can direct light in a direction Burst shooting forward. Players also can fire their primary shots while Burst Beam will, but it will keep the beam in a fixed position. The Burst This system is unique recharged whenever Silver Hawk destroy something; whether it is an enemy ship, shot the same enemy or object damaged, Burst dried meter will be refilled after the destruction of the object. However, the Army has managed to reverse engineer Belser Burst System, which allows them access to these weapons for their war ships bigger. Thus, similar to the Beam Duels of the G-Darius and Black Metal, players can duel boss armed with Burst System.
Players can choose one of eight different Hawks silver in Arcade Mode on the Chronicle Savior; The original DariusBurst, three vessels were used: The Legend Silver Hawk, Next and Home. The Legend Silver Hawk model is the standard that is capable of using Burst System while Next physically redesigned and equipped with homing missiles rather than bomb air-to-ground. The Origin on the other hand is based on the model of the original Silver Hawk, and thus have no Burst System; it uses the same loadout with Silver Hawk from the original Darius. In Dariusburst SP, Silver Hawk Assault using homing bombs rather than bombs air-to-ground and spread the gravity bomb instead of a beam to its Burst. Chronicle Saviors introduce new Burst Beam boats, Formula Silver Hawk Burst, Burst Beam which uses such as Legend and Next but could only hit the enemy with normal fire at close range; Both Silver Hawk (based on Darius II), Gaiden Silver Hawk (which is based on and uses his Darius Gaiden Black Hole Bomb in place of Burst Beam), and Genesis Silver Hawk (which is based on the G-Darius and had some sort of mechanical balok- duel that game) is also available in Arcade mode.

Darius Burst: Chronicle Rescue is the latest installment in the franchise 30 years of Taito's Darius. It first appeared as a Japanese PSP-exclusive game in 2009, eventually migrated to the arcade, where he displays an elaborate cabinet it two big screen. While the series is not known in the West as in Japan, it is still widely regarded as one of the most influential series of shooting games of all time; Darius Burst legacy that captures well.
At first glance, Darius Burst scrolling shooter seems like a fairly typical: scroll along the horizontal, guns and missiles to take out waves of enemies, collect power-ups, and a boss fight at the end. What is different here, however, is the "Burst" mechanical: press explode and you shoot a very powerful laser that causes tremendous damage to everything in its path. This makes it more interesting when you consider that Burst module can also be detached from the vessel and aims to reach areas difficult to target. It is also possible to add a bit of strategy - you can set it in a place where it will automatically fill in with block and destroy incoming enemy waves.
environmental constraints and challenging meeting called reflex dodge enemy fashioned in the middle stages, but meeting the boss is in a completely different level: the bio-mechanics of this giant monstrosity volleyball lasers, homing missiles, and a wave of powerful energy bursts. Making things harder is that many of the bosses come in various permutations, with each new version introduces a powerful weapon and defensive maneuvers.
This meeting highlighted the challenge that game, with lots of tense battle that ended with your ship on the verge of collapse. confident players can learn how to counter-Burst: destructive attacks but it is difficult that requires you to Burst in some laser frame enemy. Failed Counter-spurt usually ends with your death, but learning how to do it generates great satisfaction, if the pulse is also raised.
While others Chronicle offers a semi-linear arcade mode where you pick branching paths to reach the end, the real meat lies in the strong mode Rescue Chronicle and Chronicle. Chronicle Mode is a direct port of the arcade game, and features more than 3,000 individual missions for you to open and clear. Many of these missions include conditions that make extraordinary things challenging, such as removing the power-ups or restrict you continue. Indeed, not all of these truly unique - and boss stages reused - but the rules present in these challenges overshadow the presence of recycled elements.
The sheer variety on display here - and the authentic feel of old ships - is a real treat, especially for fans of the series.
Elsewhere, Darius Burst resurface old material to great effect: the selection of the ship in the game not only includes the design created for Darius Burst, but also ships from Darius previous game, complete with different weapons and shot patterns. Some of this makes the game more difficult (Darius I and II ship lacked Burst function), while others change the way you approach the meeting (The Gaiden ship replace the screen-clearing Burst Black Hole Bomb). There was even a vessel of clear Taito shooter Scramble Formation, which Murakumo, featuring four separate weapons unit and play as any in the game. The sheer variety on display here - and the authentic feel of old ships - is a real treat, especially for fans of the series.
The PC version of Darius Burst allows you to recreate the arcade experience with the game stretched across two monitors, creating an ultra-wide image. If not, you should receive a letter-box format of the game, which squeezes the ultra-wide image to fit your display, leaving black bars at the bottom and top of the screen. One exception to this rule is the Savior Chronicle mode, which is adjusted for a standard screen of 16: 9. Although the four-player local stables are available, the lack of online multiplayer is a disappointment, especially considering that there are some missions that can only be cleared by four players.
Even with these issues, however, Darius Burst is one of the best traditional shooter to come out in years. Excellent visual design, avant-garde music and memorable, thrilling boss encounter, and it was packed challenge to make you come back and play again. If you enjoy the game at all and are craving a finely-crafted, intense shooting experience that will keep you hooked for a long time, then Darius Burst: Chronicle Rescue is feasible.
