How the Indicator Spots Levels

There are many approaches to drawing support and resistance levels. For example, the Pivot Points indicator uses data from previous candlesticks for this purpose. In turn, the S&R indicator identifies the levels with the maximum number of price touches.

Touch is a subjective concept since everyone interprets it in their way. Therefore, we used a freely available Fractal indicator to identify touches, which are also extreme levels of the price.

There are three major techniques of trading with strong support and resistance levels:

• Rebound (Bounce) from a level,
• Level breakout,

Settings

The window of the indicator's settings has several tabs. As a rule, you shouldn't have any difficulties with them. So we’ll analyze only the settings displayed on the "Inputs" tab.

"Level Settings" Block

3. Breakout sensitivity is the sensitivity of the indicator to level breakout. As soon as the price forms a certain number of fractals outside of the broken level, this level is interrupted. If the sensitivity is high, levels are interrupted more often; if the sensitivity is low, they are interrupted less often. By default, the “Breakout sensitivity” is set to “Average”.

"Display Options" Block

1. Levels Display Period sets up the depth of the history used to draw support and resistance levels. Its default value is “Medium”. In this case, the levels are drawn within the time interval, which is no longer than 600 candlesticks on the current timeframe.
   You can also choose the history depth of 300 bars (Levels Display Period="Short") or 1200 bars (Levels Display Period="Long") to draw levels.

3. Show touches count. This parameter has only two values: “Yes” and “No”. If set to “Yes”, the number of price interactions with the level (the weight of the level) is displayed next to it. If set to “No”, this information is not displayed.
   
   
4. Show touches on click displays the price interactions with the level when you click the number. This option allows you to track where and when the price touched support or resistance level. If necessary, the option can be disabled. To do this, set "Show touches on click" to "No".
   
   
5. Projection length sets the length of dashed line (projection) in bars.

"Color Options" Block

Color Scheme. By default, the indicator automatically detects the color scheme depending on the chart background. If necessary, select the desired color scheme from the list.

Level Fibonacci ( Baiik Untuk Tred Sideways )

Level Fibonacci adalah sekumpulan garis-garis horizontal dengan jarak yang berbeda satu sama lain. Garis-garis ini muncul di grafik secara otomatis setelah titik rendah dan tinggi telah dihubungkan (atau tinggi dan rendah bila terjadi tren turun).  

Tiap level horizontal bernilai dari 0 sampai 1. Para trader juga membedakan patokan ini menjadi penting dan pembantu. Pembagian relatif ini dikonfirmasi oleh analisa data historis.

Mari kita melihat sejumlah contoh : 

Kami telah mengkoneksikan titik rendah dan tinggi acak (dua segi empat pada grafik) pada pasangan mata uang EUR/JPY. Dengan ini kita dapat meneliti dampak level pada kebiasaan harga di waktu yang akan datang. (Gambar 1). 

Pada contoh kami, harga memantul keluar dari level atau mengakselerasi gerakan ke arah turun setelah menembus level Fibonacci lainnya. Dengan demikian, pada situasi ini trader bisa mendapat sejumlah sinyal yang memadai. 

Opini: sejumlah trader menganggap bahwa ditembusnya level 0,5 adalah sebuah sinyal terpercaya mengenai pembalikan sinyal.

Bila ingin menggunakan level Fibonacci adalah sebuah indikator yang memungkinkan Anda dapat mengenali secara lebih baik tren sideways.

Kipas Fibonacci ( Untuk Mengikuti Arah Tred Naik/ Turun)

Pada saat menggunakannya, Anda mendapat sejumlah garis diagonal dengan berbagai sudut inklinasi berbeda pada grafik. Sama seperti level (Fibonacci), garis-garis ini memengaruhi tren dengan cara menghentikan atau mengaktifkannya.

Bagaimana cara menganalisa grafik menggunakan Fibonacci?

Tidak ada pendekatan tunggal untuk hal ini. Ada sebuah metode yang sangat populer sesuai dengan penggunaan sejumlah kerangka waktu (time frame). Ketika menggunakan metode ini, Anda memasang perkakas Fibonacci pada kerangka waktu yang lebih tinggi dan hanya membuat transaksi jual.

Sebagai contoh, seorang trader memilih sebuah aset dan kerangka waktu 4 jam. Ia menarik level Fibonacci menggunakan tinggi dan rendah terakhir.

Opini: Anda bisa melakukan hal yang sama di semua aset sebelum sesi trading dimulai untuk mendapat lebih banyak sinyal untuk waktu selanjutnya.

Kemudian trader beralih ke kerangka waktu yang lebih rendah. Cara ini akan membantunya untuk mengetahui:

1. Kebiasaan harga pada sejumlah level penting (apakah terdapat reaksi cepat atau pasar datar sebelum aktivitas naik)
2. Poin entri.
3. Level terbaik untuk menempatkan perintah Stop Loss dan Take Profit.

Level Fibonacci, Stop loss dan Take profit

Penempatan Stop Loss dan Take Profit pada level yang tepat adalah elemen penting hampir seluruh strategi trading. Analisa teknikal sederhana tidak selalu memberi kita informasi ini, tetapi kita bisa menggunakan Fibonacci.

Anda memastikan semua perkakas ini sangat efisien dalam analisa pasar. Akan tetapi kontribusi keduanya pada manajemen risiko juga sudah pasti. Berikut adalah beberapa tips untuk menempatkan Stop Loss dan Take Profit sesuai perkakas yang dijelaskan di atas:

1. Pada saat membuka transaksi beli. aturlah Stop Loss sedikit lebih rendah daripada level atau kipas Fibonacci terdekat yang terletak di bawah harga aset saat ini.
2. Pada saat membuka transaksi jual, aturlah Stop Loss sedikit lebih tinggi daripada level atau kipas Fibonacci terdekat yang terletak di atas harga aset saat ini.
3. Take profit bisa ditempatkan di level terdekat atau dekat dengan kipas pada arah transaksi Anda.

Kita bisa melihat dua zona yang mendukung untuk mengatur Stop Loss dan Take Profit pada Gambar Dibawah Jangan lupa bahwa level-level ini bisa memberikan Anda data yang lebih akurat, tetapi kipas adalah lebih fleksibel. 

Sebagai contoh, Anda bisa secara konstan menggerakkan Take Profit dan Stop Loss di bawah garis menurun. Hal ini akan dapat membantu Anda menyimpan lebih banyak profit dan mengurangi risiko. 

Dengan apa saya dapat menggabungkan Indikator ini?

Metode Fibonacci membantu Anda memprediksi tren, menentukan target, dan mengoptimalkan risiko. Namun setiap sinyal bisa (dan kadang-kadang sebaiknya) diverifikasi oleh sebuah perkakas analisa tambahan:

1. Bila level (garis) Fibonacci menunjukkan sinyal beli, dan osilator (misalnya RSI) jenuh jual (oversold), peluang Anda untuk membuat transaksi menguntungkan naik secara signifikan.
2. Level support/resistance. Anggaplah grafik turun menuju garis kipas Fibonacci. Ini adalah sinyal beli. Sinyal ini akan dikonfirmasi bila terdapat level support horizontal di sekitar harga saat ini.
3. Penggunaan kipas dan level secara terus menerus. Dengan cara ini Anda sebaiknya memercayai sinyal yang dihasilkan dua perkakas ini.

Manakah kerangka waktu terbaik untuk trading Fibonacci?

Metode ini dapat digunakan pada semua kerangka waktu. Segala sesuatu di Bumi ini diharapkan dapat bersesuaian dengan rasio atau keseimbangan emas.

Meskipun demikian, trader harian berpengalaman masih lebih suka mencari poin entri setidaknya 5 menit. Untuk mereka yang menahan posisi selama 2 hari atau lebih, kerangka waktu yang disarankan adalah 4 jam atau lebih.

Apa itu Osilator DeMarker (DeMarker Oscillator)?

Osilator DeMarker diciptakan oleh salah satu inovator dan pelopor sejati trading, yaitu Thomas DeMark. DeMark juga berada di balik sejumlah sistem dan strategi analisa tren pasar untuk memahami di mana tren terbentuk dan kapan pembalikan tren akan terjadi.

Analisa dan perkakas analisa yang ia kembangkan terkenal di kalangan lembaga trading. Beberapa dari perkakas ini bersifat tidak terbuka dan sangat mahal untuk dimiliki. Akan tetapi sejumlah metodenya sangat bisa diakses gratis hari ini, salah satunya Indikator Tom DeMark (Osilator DeMarker) yang tersedia gratis untuk para klien Olymp Trade.

Sejumlah teknik dan strategi seperti Indikator Sekuensial TD (TD Sequential Indicator), Kalkulator Poin Pivot DeMark (DeMark Pivot Point Calculator), dan Indikator Garis Tren Demark (Demark Trendline Indicator) tersedia secara online untuk trader-trader yang ingin mengembangkan kemampuan analisa secara mendetil.

Indikator DeMarker membantu trader menentukan poin entri dan keluar terbaik di pasar untuk memaksimalkan profitabilitas mereka. Dengan mengambil data dari kerangka waktu sebelumnya, indikator menunjukkan kapan pasar menjadi jenuh beli (overbought) dan jenuh jual (oversold), sama seperti indikator RSI tetapi dengan kalkulasi yang berbeda.

Bagaimana cara kerjanya?

Osilator DeMarker ditampilkan dengan sederetan angka antara 0 dan 1. Poin dasar pada indikator adalah .5 (tengah) dan .3 dan .7 pada indikator menunjukkan poin-poin di mana pasar mungkin jenuh jual (.3) atau jenuh beli (.7).

Cara untuk menentukan angka-angka ini berdasarkan pada 14 periode sebelumnya menurut pengaturan awal, tetapi dapat ditambah atau dikurangi bila trader menginginkannya.

Indikator tidak mempunyai tipikal penghalus gerakan, tetapi tipe yang digunakan Olymp Trade menggunakan SMA untuk memperhalus grafik. Indikator bisa ditampilkan sebagai garis atau histogram.

Indikator ini tidak menghitung level penutupan periode-periode sebelumnya. Indikator menggunakan poin trading tertinggi dan terendah dalam periode tersebut. Berikut adalah bagaimana indikator mengevaluasi harga dan menghasilkan besaran pada saat membandingkan dua periode trading:

•  Numerator
1. Bila trading tinggi baru lebih tinggi daripada periode sebelumnya, selisih antara dua harga akan dihasilkan.
2. Bila trading tinggi baru lebih rendah daripada periode sebelumnya, besaran yang akan dihasilkan adalah 0. 
3. Hal ini diterapkan untuk tiap 14 periode sebelumnya (pada pengaturan standar).
4. Hasilnya adalah rata-rata maksimal 14 periode dan menghasilkan sebuah numerator.
• Denominator
1. Bila trading rendah baru lebih rendah daripada periode sebelumnya, selisih antara dua harga akan dihasilkan.
2. Bila trading rendah baru lebih tinggi daripada periode sebelumnya, angka 0 akan dihasilkan.
3. Hal ini diterapkan untuk tiap 14 periode sebelumnya (pada pengaturan standar).
4. Hasilnya adalah rata-rata minimal (minimum average) untuk 14 periode dan angka ini ditambahkan pada rata-rata maksimal (maximum average)  untuk menghasilkan denominator,

• Numerator kemudian dibagi dengan denominator untuk menghasilkan angka antara 0 dan 1.
• Rumus
• Indikator DeMarker =  Nominal Maksimal Rata-rata / (Nominal Minimal Rata-rata + Nominal Maksimal Rata-rata)  

Berita baiknya, indikator ini melakukan semua kalkulasi untuk trader sehingga menyederhanakan proses. 

Bagaimana cara menggunakan Osilator DeMarker saat trading?

Osilator DeMarker adalah paling efektif pada pasar yang bergerak cepat dan berhubungan dengan indikator lainnya. Para trader disarankan menggunakannya untuk menentukan poin-poin pivot pembalikan tren, atau untuk mengidentifikasi tren baru ketika mulai terbentuk.

Pada saat trading harian Options atau Forex di platform Olymp Trade, carilah poin-poin indikator di bawah .3 atau di atas .7. Ketika indikator bergerak cepat melampaui poin-poin ini, ini adalah pertanda bahwa sebuah poin entri atau poin keluar berada dalam posisi terbaiknya.

Pada screenshot di atas, panah merah di dekat Indikator DeMarker menunjukkan poin entri untuk trader ketika indikator memberi sinyal tren naik dan tren turun pada saat keduanya berlintasan di area abu-abu indikator. Panah-panah pada grafik harga menunjukkan apa yang terjadi segera setelah Osilator DeMarker memberi kita poin-poin entri Beli dan Jual.

Sebaliknya, indikator juga memberi kita waktu keluar yang layak untuk posisi kita. Sebagaimana diilustrasikan di bawah ini, panah-panah merah menunjukkan di mana indikator menandakan bahwa harga bergerak menuju wilayah jenuh beli dan jenuh jual. Dengan demikian kita dapat menutup posisi secara menguntungkan. 

Satu INDIKATOR Tidak Untuk Semua

Walaupun Osilator DeMarker adalah perkakas yang berguna, perkakas ini tidak sempurna. Indikator ini paling tepat digunakan bersama perkakas lain seperti RSI, CCI, Williams%, dan perkakas lain untuk menentukan keputusan trading. Sangat disarankan untuk mempelajari bagaimana menggunakannya dalam sebuah strategi.  

Memang tidak ada strategi atau perkakas “terbaik”. Namun dengan menggunakan Osilator DeMarker sebagai bagian dari strategi seperti Poin Pivot Fibonacci, Poin Pivot Camarilla, dan Analisa DeMark, para trader bisa mengurangi risiko kerugian sementara memperbaiki pemilihan waktu pasar.
